Description

CRISOL is a Madrid type foundry with a hot-metal casting bench: brass matrices engraved in acid, 11pt lead bodies, vat ink and laid paper. The page tours the four gestures digital printing forgot - drawing, matrix, lead, paper - a live monotype cipher keyboard in the hero, and a two-tier commission offer: a bespoke lettering (from 1,200 EUR) or a full type family (from 4,800 EUR). The paper band closes with a monthly specimen letter, printed and posted.
